About the Wampum Interactive

Wampum Interactive was produced by Jennifer Wemigwans with knowledge keepers and academics from the following agencies:

  • Haudenosaunee Resource Centre
  • Ojibwe Cultural Foundation
  • Ontario Federation of Indian Friendship Centres
  • Six Nations Legacy Consortium
  • Three Fires Confederacy
  • Trent University – Indigenous Studies Program
  • Woodland Cultural Centre

The project was originally commissioned by Parks Canada, Southwestern Ontario Field Unit, to commemorate the War of 1812 at Fort George National Historic Site.
